In the video is a Futaba S3101 - but thats because it was the only servo I had laying around at the time.
The S3101 is overkill a bit. I took it out and now have a Hitec HS-55 installed in its place.

Wow… Sounds dangerously exciting,but its a little too intense for me.

Buy some nichrome …
Buy some nichrome wire and rig it through the fuse.
You could also rig it so the fuse holds the firecracker in place. Whenever you pass a small current through the nichrome wire, it'll light the fuse, which will no longer hold the firecracker, causing it to fall and explode.
